GadgetTrak enables owners to keep track of their missing or stolen gadgets through a smart service locally and globally!
Owners just need to place the auto-configured tracking agent on their storage device to protect them.
If the gadget is stolen, the owner flags it on the website. The next time the device storage is accessed it will initiate communication via the internet* with the central server and send information back regarding the location and other forensic data that will help recover the device.
This service works worldwide.
The GadgetTrak agent is supported by all Windows versions including Vista and Apple OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
How it works?
Register and install our agent files on your device.
If the device is missing or stolen, log into your account and activate tracking for that device. The next time the device is accessed it will contact the GadgetTrak server and provide data regarding the system it is plugged into including:
- Public IP Address
- Internal IP Address
- Location
- Computer Name and Username
- ISP information and Host Name
